Research Associate

Ms. Jones came to UNLV to pursue an undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture. After graduating in 2001, she joined the LA+P Research staff where she is responsible for Landscape Architecture and Planning for the day to day operations of the office, proposal preparation, and project management, in addition to research activities.She also serves as Collections Coordinator for the arboretum at UNLV.

Susan is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta. Her research has resulted in numerous professional publications, conference presentations, and awards.

In her spare time, Susan enjoys reading, quilting, and traveling with her family and friends.
